They say its your birthday!

Oh HEY! It's my birthday!! And I'm 20! And I'm old! SO OLD! I'm not a teenager anymore! It's really weird! But my dad told me today that I looked like I was 9...I thought I looked at least 13, guess not!
Here are some pictures of this great event!

Aren't my JV girls sooo sweet?! They are the best girls ever! I love my baby birds!

Yeah people actually honked...haha. They were mostly guys...and mostly old...but hey who cares haha. It's the thought that counts right? Right!
Anyways, today was a pretty great day! Not only am I no longer a teenager, but I am incredibly spoiled (if you haven't noticed.)
I started off my day by waking up at 4:30 am, for no apparent reason, and I couldn't go back to sleep so I watched The Big Bang Theory and I tried to learn the theme song..I'm close but not quite yet! THEN I decided to go for a run and it was really cold but it was still really great. Then I got ready and stuffs and momma made me breakfast (egg whites and turkey bacon) and then I opened my presents and stuff. Wanna know what I got? Sure ya do!
So I gotttttt:
  • money!
  • pink camo slippers (thanks court!)
  • the Mumford and Sons cd! (thanks again court!)
  • a disney princess birthday ribbon (which I was forced to wear all day. I looked like I was 3.)
  • leather boots!
  • a leather jacket!
  • Juicy purse! (and yes, it has a crown on it!)
  • a S necklace! (I LOVE IT!)
  • some really good smelling lotion and some makeup stuff
So that's all, it was a lot and  it was great! So after I opened my presents I got a pumpkin spice chai tea because I'm a princess and it was my birthday and I've been doing really good watching what I eat except for today cause today is my day off and so yeah I thought I'd treat myself cause I love pumpkin! Then I got my nails done, and I got fake nails just for kicks because I've never had them because of cheer and my fingers hurt really bad and whenever I say that I just think of Happy Gilmore, and I can't really do anything. It's sad.
So THEN I went to Costa Vida for lunch, and it was pretty good, it's like the next best thing to Cafe Rio! And I went shopping and stuff with momma bear and quart-knee, cause like I said I'm spoiled rotten. Then I went to PF Changs for dinner because I REALLY love chinese food, and theeeennn I went to the SHS v. Hanford game and that was pretty alright I guess, p.s. I coach JV and even though its a varsity game I always sit on the sidelines with the cheer team because I don't like sitting in the parent section cause I feel weird. Well after that I came home and had cake which was SOOO much chocolate so I ate like 4 bites but it was still really amazing.
To end,
Today was a really great 20th birthday! THANK YOU so much to everyone who wished me a happy birthday, and you cared enough to think about me! You are all so sweet!
Special shout out to mi familia for being so incredibly fantastic!

p.s. thanks for reading my life story about today!
xoxo.

How to be lazy 101.

I am really good at being lazy. Don't get me wrong though, I work hard. I go to school, I study and do my homework, I work, I volunteer, so every now and then, or every day I don't HAVE to do something, I don't. I like to be lazy. And like I just said, I'm realllllyyy good at it.

Anyways, so on this particular day, I woke up and I said to myself as Bruno Mars would say "today I don't feel like doing anything." So that's basically what I did. Nothing. And boy, it was great.

I managed to watch a lot of really great shows/movies. I watched Pearl Harbor for the first time and I usually never cry during movies or in general because I'm not that emotional, but for some odd reason I've been on the verge of tears lately and I almost cried watching that movie. But I didn't. So no worries. I also decided that I really really love The Big Bang Theory. Seriously, that show is soooo funny! And I really want to learn the theme song cause its really fast and cool. I already got the BANG part down though, It's my favorite part.

So I guess on my day of laziness I managed to not be that incrediby lazy. I did go on a walk this morning with momma bear, and I did clean my room, and I did open my anatomy book (and closed it 5 minutes later..) Along with doing all that and doing like 4 loads of laundry, I managed to have the following amazing songs on repeat.
Please Enjoy.

Oh, and if you didn't get how to be lazy from reading this, just lay around all day and drink a lot of water and watch The Big Bang Theory all day. And don't forget to take a nap because doing nothing makes you real tired. Oh and also don't forget to wake up from that nap at 4, shower, and then get back into yoga pants and big t shirts.
That's how you be lazy.

The End.

p.s. here's the songs!

its that time of the year again..

time for school! I love school so much! I want to go to school everyday for the rest of my life that's how much I love it!

FALSE.
I do not like school. I do not want to be in school for the rest of my life. I do not even want to be in school now.

Anyways, so this quarter I'm taking anatomy 1 and stats (because I couldn't pass it the first time.) I'm really not excited at all because, well I'll be honest, I hate CBC, I hate school, oh and I really hate classes I actually have to work at. Unfortunately you need a degree to do anything in this world, even sneeze (I'm still working on my degree for that) so here I am, at school, slaving my life away. Actually today wasn't bad because it was the first day and you hardly ever do anything on the first day but go over the syllabus and maybe chapter one, depending on how much your teacher bird walks or how long your class is. Fortunately for me, my teacher rambled on the whole first hour about basically nothing important at all, and then I was literally in my lab for 10 minutes. Hopefully that's a sign of a good quarter, right?

What I really am not looking forward too is my limited amount of free time  that I'm going to have this quarter. I mean I don't have much of a social life anyways and I'm really not afraid to admit it, but I don't want to spend all the time that I do have working and sleeping, cause that's not that fun. Not really. Like tomorrow for example, I go to school, then I go to work and maybe to the gym if I have time, and then I get to go back to school (YAY me!) for my math class which just so happens to be at night. I know, another unfortunate event. My life rocks.

FORTUNATELY, I do have this blog to vent on. And I'm grateful enough that I can go to school and that I do have a job to get me through school. Don't get me wrong, I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunities that I have, but I don't handle stress well or really at all, so sometimes I freak out...like now.

Okay thanks for reading.

if life was like an 80's movie..

let's face it, that would be really flippin cool. I'm a sucker for 80's movies. They're so corny and cheesy, how can you not love them? I just watched Dirty Dancing the other day for the first time, and it was life changing. Well maybe not, but I really loved it!

"Whatever happened to chivalry? Does it only exist in 80's movies? I want John Cusack holding a boombox outside my window. I wanna ride off on a lawnmower with Patrick Dempsey. I want Jake from Sixteen Candles waiting outside the church for me. I want Judd Nelson thrusting his fist into the air because he knows he got me. Just once I want my life to be like an 80's movie, preferably one with a really awesome musical number for no apparent reason. But no, no, John Hughes did not direct my life."-my favorite quote from Easy A, and such a true one at that.

I'd have to say that the best 80's movies that I've seen are as follows (in no particular order)
  • 16 candles
  • Dirty Dancing (obvi)
  • Pretty in Pink
  • Top Gun
  • Footloose (can't wait to see the new one!)
  • The Lost Boys
Anyways, I've been listening to 80's music A LOT lately, like everyday because I love it sooo much, and I just want everyone to know that if someone ever made an 80's movie out of my life I want these songs in it. K thanks.

  • girls just wanna have fun!
  • jack & diane (i love mellencamp)
  • mickey! (literally the best music video ever)
  • safety dance!
  • tainted love (who doesn't love that song?)
okay so I just love 80's music videos because they are so horribly great.
enjoy!
xoxo.
hahahah i love these!

life as I know it.

Life used to be my favorite board game. Ever. But really when we would go back to Wisconsin in the summer and for Christmas and stuffs that's like alll we did (we as in my sister and I, and my cousins and my grandpa's neighbor Tiffany.) We were a pretty tight group!
ANYWAYS. Life as we know it is also a movie, a terriffic movie if I say so myself, which I just did.
Okay back to the essence of this blog..
Life has seriously gone by so fast! I'm almost 20 and Courtney aka porkers, yentric, baby girl, is a senior! Where did the time go!? I feel like I could still be in middle school...actually I don't, I just look like I could be. Ha. Ha. Don't get me wrong, growing up is fun! If you like studying until 1 am, working your buns off, and making hard decisions. Unless you're not practical, which 95% of my graduating class is not, then all you do is drink and sleep, and sometimes work. BUT as for me, I am one of those 5% who is practical and actually wants to make something of themselves one day! Goooo me! (It's the cheerleader in me, it never goes away. See JV girls, now you know what I'm talking bout!) Back to being practical, school is not for me, and thankfully I only have 2 more quarters at CBC and then I'm outta this town!...hopefully. We'll find out in March!

Time really has gone fast though! My best friend has been gone on his mission for almost 2 years already, 4 months people! And I am sooo excited for him to come home! :) I think I spelt teriffic wrong in the first part of my blog, I actually don't even know how to spell that word...maybe I should take more english classes. NOT.

Sorry for venting, I'm in one of those "I really wish I could sleep and not think about all the things I need to do but don't want too" moods...you know how that is.
Thanks for reading!
xoxo.

"for daysssss"

It has recently come to my attention that the saying "for daysssss" is rather REALLY annoying. Why would you say you're doing something for days? Are you really doing something for days? "Mean girls for daysssss." "Kinect for dayssss." "Sleeping for daysss." Are you really watching mean girls for days? And are you really playing kinect for days? And if you're really sleeping for days, then you should probably inform Google or something because then you're like the next Rip Van Winkle, and he didn't even really exist.

ALSO I don't understand why you would spell days like dayz. Did you turn ghetto over night or something?  Because last time I checked it was spelt "days," not "dayz" and you weren't ghetto yesterday. Wanna know what's cool? Spelling correctly. Good grammar rocks!

That's all.
xoxo.
