So I haven't blogged at all for 2012 yet and I've been really wanting too, like really bad, but I've either been busy, napping, or I didn't really have any great ideas. WELL, tonight I was at Walmart with my parents, and my dad and I were walking down some aisle, and we saw these two girls making fun of this lady that worked there who was a little bigger around. It seriously broke my heart to hear and to watch these two girls make fun of someone like that.
Now I know I'm not perfect and I'm not saying that I've never judged anyone by what they look like, or what they're wearing, etc, but I can honestly say that I've definitely been trying to truly look for the good in others. How can you judge someone when you don't know their situation?
It reminded me of an article I had to read recently for one of my english classes about this 400 lb. man who had hated his life, and his coworkers always made fun of him for his weight, but the man had said that nobody had asked him why he was really 400 lbs. No one had considered the levels he went to try to lose weight. No one had known how hard his life had been, or that his weight condition was hereditary. They only judged him by his weight, and his weight alone.
I guess I'm kind of rambling on now, but I just really wanted to get that off my chest. It's not even weight issues that have been bugging me lately, its seeing anyone in need. Why don't we help out more people? Is it because we're too busy? Or we just don't want too? Why don't we stand up for people like the Walmart employee? Are we too afraid? Maybe we shouldn't be. Maybe we should stand up for what we know is right.
Okay, sorry for the heavy, but I just really really really needed to say that.
Thanks for reading!

The True Meaning.
Hello fellow readers! It has been quite some time since I've blogged last. I guess I just got caught up with school and work and life and whatnot, also I don't really ever have anything important to say, haha. But I do feel like this is important, so I'm going to say it. Bear (bare? i don't really know actually) with me please, this could get kind of emotional.
So Christmas is in 6 days or something close like that, and I haven't really "felt" like its Christmas, given I've been listening to Christmas music since July, so that wasn't really new or anything. I've always loved the season. I love the decorations, and the lights. Not to mention the holiday baking because let's be real, I love eating. Back to what I was originally saying, I haven't really felt like its Christmas, or close to it, and its honestly been kind of stumping me. I mean, I've done everything Christmas-y, so why doesn't it feel like Christmas? And then, it HIT ME! Okay, so I've been going to church since you know, I was born, and I've been raised LDS my entire life. I know the reason for the season, and that is most importantly Jesus and his birth. Somehow, I've let it not entirely slip my mind this season, but it hasn't been my first priority like I know that it should be. I teach a primary class at church on sundays for the 4/5 year olds, and I just adore them. Seriously, the most precious and eager children you will ever meet. They teach me so much more than I ever could have possibly imagined. Anyways, so our lesson on Sunday was our Christmas lesson, and it warmed my heart to see that they knew what Christmas was all about. To hear them shout out their answers when I asked if they knew what the true meaning of Christmas was, was incredible. To hear and to see these little children know this was such an eye opener.
Christmas these days is all commercialized. Its all about presents, and Santa. People forget the true meaning. These children have helped me to remember what the season is all about. Giving, loving one another, and most importantly, our Savior.
Giving and service is one of my biggest goals. I feel like I don't serve enough. I've been looking for charities to help, and for organizations to volunteer for, but I haven't been trying hard enough. But that's my goal, to get involved, and to serve. I think tomorrow I will collect some canned food and go to the Salvation Army, or maybe I will use my paycheck to go pick out some presents for the children in the shelters or hospital. I'm not entirely sure what I am going to do yet, but I know I am going to do something.
Thanks for reading, and I'm sorry for the heavy. If you get anything out of this blog, I would hope that it would be to remember the TRUE meaning of Christmas. Have a very merry Christmas!
Love, always.

Long time no blog!
But seriously, it has been a long time, and that's probably because my computer is broken, and I go to school, and I work, and I study, and I watch the Big Bang Theory, and I sleep...ALOT. I think something is wrong with me because all I want to do is sleep all the time!
Anyways, I should be studying right now. I have a muscle test tomorrow in anatomy (I've had 2 tests already this week) but I just really don't want to study anymore. My brain is so fried its basically KFC. Or maybe it would be KFB..like Kentucky Fried Brain? Who wants fried brains? Not me. I'm no zombie!Zombies scare me, cause they're all like "ahh let me kill you and eat you or bite you and turn you into a zombie ahhh" and plus they're reallllyy annoying cause they moan and its so creepy. Plus they are not attractive whatsoever. Look at me, all off topic like I know what I'm talking about. Actually I don't know what I'm talking about, and that's the beautiful thing of blogging, you don't have to have a purpose, which I don't, so I fit right in! That was a really long run-on sentence, but who cares I'm not an english teacher!
Just to let everyone know, the 25 days of Christmas starts on Sunday and I've been clearing up room on my DVR so I can get ready for it. Christmas is the BEST time of the year! I bought Justin Beiber's Christmas cd, and while I don't really like baby beibs, I do love any kind of Christmas music (I've been listening to it since July.) Oh, and also, Hillari and I leave for AZ in 23 days (I think!) So excited! Hello AZ and warm weather, goodbye ghetto TC and crappy weather! Not gonna miss this!
Okay, I think I'm done. For now.
Enjoy this Christmas song that I rediscovered the other day.
Classic.

Feeling good.
Feeling Good
by
Nina Simone
Birds flying high you know how I feel
Sun in the sky you know how I feel
Breeze driftin' on by you know how I feel
(refrain:)x2
It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life
For me
And I'm feeling good
Fish in the sea you know how I feel
River running free you know how I feel
Blossom on the tree you know how I feel
(refrain)
Dragonfly out in the sun you know what I mean, don't you know
Butterflies all havin' fun you know what I mean
Sleep in peace when day is done
That's what I mean
And this old world is a new world
And a bold world
For me
Stars when you shine you know how I feel
Scent of the pine you know how I feel
Oh freedom is mine
And I know how I feel
Love this song so much. It makes me want to dance.
Enjoy!
xoxo.

homecoming!
Okay so for starters, I did not go to homecoming, well I kind of did but I'll get to that soon, so do not be decieved by the title of this post. I am not in highschool anymore (sigh of relief) and I am definitely not that person that still wants to go to dances even after they've graduated. I didn't even want to go when I was in highschool. Why would I want to go now? ANYWAYS.
SOOOO...for those of you who do not know, my parents DO homecoming. Cheer is in charge of homecoming and my parents pretty much take over. My mom decides what to do for everything and my dad builds whatever she tells him too. So yeah, pretty much from May until October ish our house is a disaster, we NEVER get to see slash talk to our parents (which can sometimes be a good thing I guess,) they are never here, always busy, and Courtney and I are practically ignored for months which is something we are certainly not used too. So you can probably tell that we are both ecstatic that homecoming is over! WE GET OUR LIVES BACK! Hooray!!
Here's some pics of homecoming! Court looked so purrty!
sooo....I may or may not have dressed like Captain Jack Sparrow at their homecoming last night...OKAY SO I DID AND IT WAS HILARIOUS! Kadie dressed like Ariel because she has long super pretty red hair and she has lots of freckles like Ariel. So it was perfect. Okay so story of how I became Jack..so friday night I was messing around with this like life size steering wheel thing and I was going on about how I should have a captain's hat and how I really had one and how I should dress up like a captain and then all of a sudden I was like "I SHOULD BE JACK SPARROW OMG!" and everyone loved that idea and so my mom made me go find a costume Saturday morning, and I didn't even think about facial hair or anything, but luckily a girl on the teams (fairy) godmother was there and she did theatre makeup and stuff like that for a living and I asked her if she would do my makeup and she did and it looked soooo fantastic! I pretty much looked like a boy...haha. Kadie and I, or should I say Ariel and I, were the hit of homecoming. Who cares about cute boys or dresses or pretty hair when you have disney characters at your highschool dance?! Yeah...we don't have lives...
I'm kind of a good time. Whatevs.

They say its your birthday!
Oh HEY! It's my birthday!! And I'm 20! And I'm old! SO OLD! I'm not a teenager anymore! It's really weird! But my dad told me today that I looked like I was 9...I thought I looked at least 13, guess not!
Here are some pictures of this great event!
Aren't my JV girls sooo sweet?! They are the best girls ever! I love my baby birds!
Yeah people actually honked...haha. They were mostly guys...and mostly old...but hey who cares haha. It's the thought that counts right? Right!
Anyways, today was a pretty great day! Not only am I no longer a teenager, but I am incredibly spoiled (if you haven't noticed.)
I started off my day by waking up at 4:30 am, for no apparent reason, and I couldn't go back to sleep so I watched The Big Bang Theory and I tried to learn the theme song..I'm close but not quite yet! THEN I decided to go for a run and it was really cold but it was still really great. Then I got ready and stuffs and momma made me breakfast (egg whites and turkey bacon) and then I opened my presents and stuff. Wanna know what I got? Sure ya do!
So I gotttttt:
So THEN I went to Costa Vida for lunch, and it was pretty good, it's like the next best thing to Cafe Rio! And I went shopping and stuff with momma bear and quart-knee, cause like I said I'm spoiled rotten. Then I went to PF Changs for dinner because I REALLY love chinese food, and theeeennn I went to the SHS v. Hanford game and that was pretty alright I guess, p.s. I coach JV and even though its a varsity game I always sit on the sidelines with the cheer team because I don't like sitting in the parent section cause I feel weird. Well after that I came home and had cake which was SOOO much chocolate so I ate like 4 bites but it was still really amazing.
To end,
Today was a really great 20th birthday! THANK YOU so much to everyone who wished me a happy birthday, and you cared enough to think about me! You are all so sweet!
Special shout out to mi familia for being so incredibly fantastic!
p.s. thanks for reading my life story about today!

How to be lazy 101.
I am really good at being lazy. Don't get me wrong though, I work hard. I go to school, I study and do my homework, I work, I volunteer, so every now and then, or every day I don't HAVE to do something, I don't. I like to be lazy. And like I just said, I'm realllllyyy good at it.
Anyways, so on this particular day, I woke up and I said to myself as Bruno Mars would say "today I don't feel like doing anything." So that's basically what I did. Nothing. And boy, it was great.
I managed to watch a lot of really great shows/movies. I watched Pearl Harbor for the first time and I usually never cry during movies or in general because I'm not that emotional, but for some odd reason I've been on the verge of tears lately and I almost cried watching that movie. But I didn't. So no worries. I also decided that I really really love The Big Bang Theory. Seriously, that show is soooo funny! And I really want to learn the theme song cause its really fast and cool. I already got the BANG part down though, It's my favorite part.
So I guess on my day of laziness I managed to not be that incrediby lazy. I did go on a walk this morning with momma bear, and I did clean my room, and I did open my anatomy book (and closed it 5 minutes later..) Along with doing all that and doing like 4 loads of laundry, I managed to have the following amazing songs on repeat.
Please Enjoy.
Oh, and if you didn't get how to be lazy from reading this, just lay around all day and drink a lot of water and watch The Big Bang Theory all day. And don't forget to take a nap because doing nothing makes you real tired. Oh and also don't forget to wake up from that nap at 4, shower, and then get back into yoga pants and big t shirts.
That's how you be lazy.
The End.
xoxo.
p.s. here's the songs!
